Ultra corrosion-resistant cable brackets
SHINLONG cable brackets mainly includes power cable brackets and communication cable brackets which are produced by dual protection design of hot-dip galvanizing and spray coating technology and welded by welding robots, automatically punched with high precision, and processed by dedicated electrostatic spraying production lines. Our cable trays mainly includes perforated cable tray, cable ladders, cable trunking, wire mesh cable tray and other cable trays.
The products are with strong adhesion coating, high installation accuracy, ultra-high corrosion resistance and ultra long service life. The service life can reach more than 100 years under outdoor conditions, and the salt spray test can reach 6000 hours, which can adapt to any durable application in harsh environments.
Cable brackets:
- Functions
Steel cable brackets are used to fix and support cables (power cables, communication cables, etc.), ensuring neat cable arrangement and preventing extrusion and wear. It also guarantees good heat dissipation for cables, facilitates inspection and maintenance, and prevents cable displacement caused by self-weight, environmental vibration or earthquakes.
- Materials and Characteristics
Steel cable supports mainly use Q235B/Q345B steel with high strength and strong load-bearing capacity. They are often treated with hot-dip galvanizing or plastic spraying for corrosion resistance, suitable for heavy-load scenarios such as outdoor areas, cable trenches and large machine rooms.
- Common Types (Classified by Installation/Structure)
By installation method: Wall-Mounted, Ceiling-Mounted, Floor-Mounted, Embedded.
By structural form: Ladder-type supports (carry multiple cables with good heat dissipation), Cantilever-type supports (single-side support, suitable for cable trenches/shafts), Modular supports (spliceable and expandable, adaptable to complex pipeline layouts).
- Key Performance Requirements
Load-bearing capacity: Select models based on cable weight. Regular cable supports have a load-bearing capacity of ≥50kg per layer, while heavy-duty ones can reach over 200kg.
Corrosion resistance grade: For outdoor/corrosive environments, salt spray test resistance ≥1000 hours (steel galvanized layer ≥600g/㎡). SHILONG cable supports’ salt spray test resistance can be ≥6000 hours.
Installation spacing: For horizontal installation, the spacing between supports ≤1.5m; for vertical installation (shafts), the spacing ≤2m to prevent cable sagging.
Insulation performance: Non-metallic supports have an insulation resistance of ≥10¹²Ω to avoid cable short-circuit risks.
| Cable Support Material Selection Comparison Table | ||||
| Material Type | Model/Grade | Core Advantages | Key Characteristics | Applicable Scenarios |
| Steel Support | Q235B / Q345B | High strength, strong load-bearing capacity | Corrosion resistance after hot-dip galvanizing/plastic spraying; durable | Outdoor areas, cable trenches, large machine rooms, heavy-load environments |
| Composite Support | FRP / BMC | Excellent insulation, corrosion resistance | Lightweight, non-conductive, low maintenance | Corrosive environments (chemical plants, coastal areas), non-metallic insulation requirements |
| Aluminum Alloy Support | 6063 / 6061 | Lightweight, good corrosion resistance | Moderate strength, easy to install and process | Indoor clean areas, medium-load scenarios, areas requiring easy modification |
